Some early HEAVY Hard Rock which some call Proto-metal or Heavy Prog. This German band is called Epitaph. This is their debut album released in 1971. I hear some definite Black Sabbath influence in the solos. But they utilize 2 guitars and some twin harmonies the way Wishbone Ash did, but heavier and proggier than Wishbone Ash. Heavy blues-sounding influence from Blue Cheer as well. Other songs begin mellow and build into rampant jams and riffing and solo-ing that just rule. Enjoy. I believe this Epitaph pre-dates all other bands called Epitaph.
