Info
I have just as much valuable information regarding this band as MA has to offer: Metal Archives
Some reviews and more info: Staticrecords
Probably obscure enough to find a home here at HMR ;-)
Quality is ok, but source is not orginal first hand copy.

This first demo is clearly and obviously metal oriented, but as i understand the band later began to play punk. No offence to punk despite it not being my cup of tea but perhaps Forge should have stayed on the path they were heading with their debut demo? I havent spent much time with their stuff past this demo but would say this is the best the band has ever produced.
The introduction to the second track "Prototype" brings an uncanny resemblance to an old song with Dismember; "Dreaming In Red" released a year before, although not as dramatic. But you can clearly distinguish the resemblance/influence or coincidence if you play any instrument yourself.
Offtopic :
Sources say this demotape was released in 1995 despite democover showing 1994. I wouldnt honestly know as i got this tape several years after it was released and was not familiar with the band around 94/95.
