Sacred Steel was a popular local band in the Chicago area between '82 & '84. The band broke up and went our separate ways only to put together a modified version called Vampire in 1994. Vampire included one Sacred Steel guitar player (Dean Golding), the SS vocalist and the SS drmmer turned bass player.
The Sacred Steel songs were recorded in April of 1984 in Rockford Illinois. We worked hard to put together 4 perfect songs and as most struggling musicians back in those days, we only hard the money to complete those 4. We were part of very competive metal scene in Chicago back in those days and were always comparated to Queensryche and Iron Maiden due to our singers ability to cover pretty much anything vocally and our dual guitar player harmonic attack.

Not downloading - just for info : I "discovered" this band and i recommended it to the boss of Blood & Iron Records (which is a mate of mine) who got from them a license and their stuff to release their CD.
