Here is another Demo I found burried in my collection. I have little to no info on this band.
They do not seem to match any of the phantasm's on MA And Its Not Katon De Penas band .

I only have a few song titles So Any help with this would be great.

It is the same band as the one in the Metal Forces page- same line up on that demo too. That was the first demo. I can supply any additional info-- I was the singer (chambers). I have later demos that need to be digitally covered that are much better quality- thought the line-up changed in that the drummer and bass player changed and a second guitar player was added.

It is funny to listen to these demos and think back how much we spent recording them. Now I use my computer and Logic Pro and get studio digital quality in my office-

Definitely going to check out Mike's show!

    That demo contains:
    Chaos (instrumental)
    Await the beast of Night
Rest in Peace (the metal ballad)
    What never was

    The lineup was:
    Freddie Chambers- vocals (me)
    Fred Steel- bass guitar
Keith Kelli - guitars (later changed his name to Kelli Stevens)
    Tee Anthony- drums

There were two more demos that included:
    Fight to Survive
    Dying to Meet You

We changed drummer for that demo- Nick Astro replaced Tee Anthony

The demo we really planned to be released as an EP record. I think it the best set of songs we recorded. Ironically, the engineer was Bob Alleca who did a lot of genres and co-wrote, recorded, and produced Christina Aguilera's first album--one that few have heard but you can still get it on itunes (just some odd facts here).

    That demo included:
    Dirt-e-luv
Do what you want to do
    Criminal Acts
(another song I can't remember but will look up if I can- I was not fond of it)

For that demo we added Joey Rose on lead guitar. He currently plays with a band called Lords of Mercy but plays bass.

    Hope this is somewhat useful.

Strappado- we had no cover art for first two demos- we had cover design for the last one but I have to dig deep to find it.

Thanks to both of you for your interest- brings back a lot of memories.

    Doc

As the daughter of Fred Steel, bassist of phantasm, I can answer any questions regarding the band. My father was a founding member and has records of shows played and old demos.

Is this ( https://www.discogs.com/de/artist/5805803-Phantasm-9 ) the same band as the Phantasm mentioned here?

I wonder, because on the tape of the EP release "Back Again" you can also read Nutley, New Jersey (like the band here) as an address, but this demo "Back Again" isn't mentioned here and it isn't mentioned in the Metal Archives.
