"Liner" was a band, organized in 1985. Their quality is not that familiar even for those days - imagine an even rawer version of Motorhead crossed with Iron Maiden, and this will be the closest analogue.
First three tracks were recorded in 1986. The fourth was recorded for TV in 1987.
Recommended for fans of underground-sounding raw material from the 80s.
"Liner's first drummer, Igor Levchenko, somehow managed to save his band's first recordings. Which at that time the leader of the group Andrey Zemlyanskiy mercilessly erased, hoping to record in a good studio, and distribute "Liner" only on high-quality media. Recording was constantly delayed due to frequent line-up changes, and did not take place either in the 80s, not in the 90s. Perhaps not only because of the lineup changes."
Oleg Shkerdin - vocals
Andrey Zemlyanskiy - guitar
German Nikolayev - bass
Igor Levtchenko (a.k.a. Shim_Za) - drums
1987 Line-up:
Sergey Falileyev - vocals
Andrey Zemlyanskiy - lead guitars
Anatoliy Simochko - guitar
Vasiliy Telitsyn - bass
Pavel Tkach - drums
The band's other material includes an extended live demo from 1986, a demo from 1993, and a demo from 2004 (the first two are apparently no longer available.)
