Midnight Sun is a great band with a very classic sounding AOR / Heavy metal approach. Their first 3 albums are closer to AOR and their final album Metal Machine is heavier than the rest.

This album specifically is somewhat similar to the previous album Above & Beyond in style, lots of strong + heavy AOR with hooks and great riffs. I especially like Conqueror (which has very power metal style uplifting lyrics) as well as "I Don't Know". The Seven Doors Hotel cover is very nice too.
