This italian band was founded in Aosta from the ashes of a punk/OI! band (actually some punk/oi! influences can be found in their music) in the middle of the 80's (they took their name from the colours of the Italian flag Verde=Green Bianco=White Rosso=Red),released several demos and appeared in some compilations; in 1989 VBR released their first lp "Europa", a 7" 45 rpm followed ("Bionda,Rossa e Nera/Fiero di Te"in 1990) and a second lp ("Padroni del Mondo") in 1991, all their official discography is on a french label, "Rebelles Europeens,specialised in OI!/fascist music.

Lyrics are in italian and talk about honor,homeland and fascism, but in their discography there are also epic (for examples "Alzati e vai") or fun themes as "Bionda,Rossa e Nera"(dedicated to women and beer) or "Tredici al Totocalcio" and against drugs ("Bucati")...

VBR disbanded in 1992 but various members went on playing in different bands.

Hi Marco, everything is fine here in Sao Paulo even though i really miss the concerts around europe (kit, sob,...).

Cavolo! Questo é il primo gruppo Italiano di "destra" che ascolto volentieri! la canzone "Fuori" è lungimirante, la canzone "Bucati" mi ha fatto sorridere perchè esprime cose che penso anche io sull'eroina.. "bucati bucati, MUORI!" (che tristezza comunque..). "Combattere" ha un'inizio lento poi una accelerazione gradevole, tutta molto "progressive/rock". "Alzati e vai" é veramente epica e mi ricorda un pò gli Strana Officina... Grazie ancora!
