Mainiax was an American traditional metal band formed in 1981 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. They released only one album called "Boys Night Out" in 1986 (Recorded Aug. 1986. label: Sharps and Flats). The band split up in 1990.

I ran into this album earlier today at my friend's house. We found 2 vinyl copies and one CD-R that had 2 extra tracks from 1983(I will upload this version later). The singer on this album(Don Garrison) had another band in the 90s named Shovelhead. They played Heavy Metal with some Progressive influences. my friend's(same friend) dad was the drummer in this band. Apparently, they recorded at least 3 hours worth of material. So far, we have one full length album(which I will upload once we have song titles), and an EP(I will upload that, as I have enough info to do so). Right now, we're working on submitting Shovelhead to MA.

I made 2 versions one is a lossless version that I ripped. This was sourced from vinyl, so if you want to remove all the clicks and pops, go ahead. If you go ahead and do that, please share it here. I also made a version in 320, which I quickly went through the album and removed any pops that were very noticeable. Like I said in my previous post, there are 2 unheard of tracks that were found on here(fortunately they have names). They're pretty soft compared to the other stuff from this album, but are nice to listen to if you're into that kind of thing. I also said I have an EP and album from Don's next band, Shovelhead. I can only upload the EP(which is inferior to the album, but still solid) right now, but once I get all of the song titles, I'll put up that album.
