Retrace is a short-lived melodic rock band coming from Jönköping formed in 1988 released one and very rare single contain two well arrange songs. The band fronted by vocalist Samuel Waermö a successful international Swedish songwriter and music producer while he was also involved in the production of 6 songs on the Bon Jovi hugely successful album Bounce. The single came out via Matchtown Records in 1989 and the songs characterized by tones of keys and harmony backing vocals. Nothing new to impress you here but the definetely the result is more than enough satisfactory.

I know I had a live recording of this band and I have been looking for their studio demo tape they made. If/when I fing the tape I have I will try and clean it up and post it.

A Swedish exchange student named visiting New York in 1985 gave me a cassette with three songs on it by Retrace. I think she said her brother was one of the members of the band. I still have the cassette.
