Info:

Not to be confused with some other italian bands with the same
name this Hydra hailed from Piacenza,the band was formed by
Prestini brothers at the end of 1981;in their early days they
were a cover band(Dio,Judas Priest etc.)but with the years
they developed a different musical style and embraced a more
melodic and commercial way.

This is the first demo,entitled "Let It Go!" was released in 1985,in
1989 Hydra contributed with the song "Stranger" to "Surgery
Of The Power", a vinyl compilation released by Fireball Records.


In 1990 finally Hydra released "Hard Way" their second and
last demo,infact the band quitted when in 1991 the guitarist Alberto
Prestini joined Death SS with the nickname of Al Priest;in these
last years there were rumors about an official release of these demos,
some italian label tried to convince the former members but nothing
has materialized so far.
