The band line-up for their first demo (info from The Headbangers Book) in 1987 was
either Nick Wood or Geordie ex-RIVAL (v)
Nidge Dobson ex-TORANAGA (g)
Kev Wedgewood (g)
Peter Probert 'Anthony' (b)
Pete Whitford (k)
Graham Frudd (d)

by UK spring 1989 the band for their second two-song demo (as referenced in Metal Forces #40) had morphed into:
Steff Erdos (v)
Kev Wedgewood (g)
Nidge Dobson (g)
Chris Harrop (b)
Pete Whitford (k)
Wayne Kirby (d)

Shortly after that demo Steff Erdos was replaced with VOYAGER UK singer IVAN MARCOVIC.

Somewhere along the way this four song demo with different versions of the three songs from the 1987 demo + one extra track was recorded... with band line-up uncertain.

I think you're spot on. The band line-up certainly matches the time frame and changes in the band line-up if this is Demo #2, with metal forces issue 40, 2 song 1989 Demo #2 (1. Yesterday's fool 2. Broken dreams), really being Demo #3.
