Hi guys! I´ve been poundering this for ages and still haven´t found out... In old Iron Maiden pictures from 1980, Paul Dianno is wearing a shirt with sharp-lettered logo, printed white on black shirt,- but I haven´t seen any pics where it´s shown properly. The only letters I´ve seen are "...tkit.." or "...rkirc..." or something similiar, in the middle of the name. What the heck is it he´s wearing?! It looks like someone´s head underneath the logo... There are some pictures of him wearing it on 1998 cd re-master of debut... Any ideas?

Yes, that´s the one!!! There are 3 to 5 pictures where he´s wearing it, but it´s always only partly visible...
I wonder what it says...

Yeah it does, "....KITE..." or "....KITO....", could also be an "R" instead of a "T"

This is going to drive me totally crazy. Should never have looked at this thread. It could even be not a "K" at all, but an "I" then a "C"? so maybe "..icit..". But it does look a lot like a K. Freakin impossible

Coño.... what comes after the "K" could be an "N" as a linguistics expert, i'd say the only viable word with what there is in the picture would be "SKIN" i'd try looking hardcore and punk bands called skin-something, maybe some awful typical punk name such as "foreskin", since he was a big punk fan back then, i think he got replaced because he sounded too punky (tell me if i'm wrong) looks tough.

Edit: sorry saw only one picture, could be an "R" after the "I" too.

Indeed it is. I hung out with the band after one gig and I still have some promo stickers that feature the exact logo and font that's on Paul's shirt.
