Town Bad Girl 'trivia' - The photographer who took the picture of the lovely lady on the cover (above) lied to Metal Blade, and said he had permission (or a release) to use the picture. So - after the album was released, the lady, pictured above, sued the Band, Metal Blade and Warner Brothers, on the grounds that it could hurt her future career. (she was a stripper - and, she won)

Is it true, or that guy created the story?

Does anybody know more details ?
The female model / stripper's name ?
When this court case took place? How much she won?

Nice find!
Interesting to read the wholeheartedly positive contemporary review of Alice In Chains 'Facelift' on that page, (and nice to finally see the 'town bad girl' in all her glory).
I always personally felt that most of those bands had more in common with Hard Rock/Metal than not, and it was only really once the 'grunge' tag was attached to them that the knee-jerk backlash began.
Probably a subject for a different thread methinks.
