Info: Barren Cross has seen their share of success since their start out of High School in 1983. In 1985 they released and independent EP called 'Believe' which garnered national attention and trademarked their raw metal sound. In 1986 Star Song Records released their 1st full length 'Rock for the King'. 1988 saw a 2nd full-length release, 'Atomic Arena', this time on Enigma Records alongside label mates Poison, Stryper, XYZ, Guardian, MASS and more. In 1989 Enigma released their 3rd CD, 'State of Control'. Their first 3 studio releases were produced by production giants John and Dino Elephante. A full Live CD on Medusa Records called 'Hotter than Hell Live!' was released in 1990 along with a reissue of 'Rock for the King' which was remixed by Ronnie Montrose. In 1994 Barren Cross made a comeback with 'Rattle Your Cage'on Rugged Records. Christian or not, Barren Cross is a heavy metal band to be reckoned with! (Vocally Mike Lee sounds similar to Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden)
