Guitarist Lloyd Chiate apparently sued Stevie Wonder for plagarism over similarities between 'I Just Called To Say I Love You' & the chorus of Kid America's 'We'll Be Kids'. He's been running the famous Voltage Guitars store in Hollywood since 1982.
Kid America bassist John Humphrey had previously been with Savoy Brown & went on to play with Carole King in the '90's. This was a well connected band.
