Cover scans included. Manchester based NWOBHM quintet formed in 1979. Released their debut single in 1980, "Red Sun Setting", on their own Mancunian Metal Records label. At this stage, drummer Simon Wright left to join AIIZ, later going on to tour and record with AURORA, TYTAN, AC/DC, DIO, RHINO BUCKET & UFO, before returning to DIO for a second stint behind the kit. TORA TORA soldiered on, releasing the "Don't Want To Let You Go" 45 on the Tora label. After replacing bassist Ian Dalglish with Nigel Blyth, the band shortened their name to TORA, and recorded one more 7", 1987's "Deja Vu", on the Laminate label, splitting shortly thereafter.
