Recorded by the band's friend Brian Nordlund during some rehearsals in 1983. The untitled tracks have never been released on any album and in any form. The fifth track has vocals, which were mixed the instrumental track recorded few weeks earlier.

Named after a song of theirs, this is actually a bootlegged compilaton of different 1980-1982 rehearsals, perhaps the earliest material ever recorded by Metal Church when they still were under the moniker Shrapnel and (at least some) possibly with Ed Bull on vocals. Different versions of same songs can be heard but only "Merciless Onslaught" was re-recorded for Metal Church material.

I noticed that the 3 tracks of "Hitman 1982 demo" are exactly the same with the 3 first tracks of "1983 demo". Listen to it. I'm not sure if the "Hitman" demo really exist - maybe some fan named it as Hitman and add it at MA too. The tracklist of Bootleg Demo compilations that exist, doesn't include "Hitman demo".
Had those demos too, and mine was the same (same tracks, same order, same sounding!). Does anyone knows something about this?

I didn't notice this before. I think all tracks from the Hitman demo were later reused for the Demo 1983. According to MA they have similar lenghts so that's possible.

There were never MC songs called "Thrasher" or "Graveyard Lust". These are fictional titles created by someone on Metal Archives or something like that.
