Legacy was the band that eventually became Testament.
They started with Steve Souza (sp?) - who eventually went on to join Exodus - on vocals.

Ripped from the demo, with tape hiss removed and volume fixed.

This sounds incredible, you must have an original copy of this demo tape.
I had a copy of this in a tape trade in 1987 and it had tape hiss on it, as it already was passed around quite a bit back then before the first LP.

Thank you for the rip and efforts to rip it. I hope you wont take my complaint in a wrong way, but I think it's too loud, it has bass and less middle range, so the sound is a bit distorted. Again, thank you for the lossless rip !!!

No offense taken at all. I start with a straight-up rip, and remove the tape hiss (at the very least). After that, using only my own ear/taste as the judge, I fix the volume to suit what I think will sound bad-ass being pumped through your speakers when you're jamming to it. Generally, this is going to bring the lows/bass a bit more to the forefront (which only helps the song seem louder).

Now, that said, I'm not sure what you mean by distorted, but when I think "distorted", I think of "clipping", or muddled sound - neither of which (I think) applies to my rips. As a matter of fact, when there's nothing to be done with a rip in this regard (it'll sound muddy, or the volume can't be fixed without clipping, or the tape hiss can't be removed without ruining the sound), I don't bother. That's why my copy of "No Life 'Til Leather" will not be ripped (it's a 5th or 6th generation copy, at best).

Thank you for taking the time to comment back - I really appreciate it.

I lessen the bass in my player, so it's good now. When bass is too loud sound distorts a bit.
