A heavy and technical metal band from Houston, Texas, and we all know how great metal bands from Texas can be?
Here's from an old review at Metal Rules (http://www.metal-rules.com/review/viewreview.php?band=&album=&post_by=EvilG&rating=&month=&year=&pos=153):
"While the production on Final Xit's five song CD is not the best, the spark of pure metal shines through unhindered. Houston may not be renown to be a world center for metal but Final Exit helps defy the stereotypes. Songs like "Mask of Time" showcase the bands ability to glide between heavy and acoustic passages and time changes as does "Rude Awakening" which is probably the heaviest of the five tracks and oddly enough (haha) my favorite! Besides the exceptional musical abilities of the band, vocalist Bryan Westbrook no doubt has the melody and the chops to really hit the higher notes. Westbrook comes off sounding like a Bruce Dickinson in training combined with the vocal styles of Geoff Tate and Warell Dane. Give this guy another year or two of perfecting his voice and look out."
