This is a demo that Damn the Machine recorded just before being dropped by their record label A&M records in 1994. I have found no info about this demo anywhere, but it clearly is Damn the Machine. It is not the same demo as the one listed (Mumbo's Brain) on Metal Archives. Mumbo's Brain was recorded in 1995 after Dave Clemmons left Damn the Machine.

Just like the '92 demo, I downloaded these songs from former singer Dave Clemmons' homepage when he had them up for download for a limited time. I am looking for a tape/CD version or better bitrate, but for now Mp3 @ 128Kbps will have to do.

The song Wall has got a higher bitrate. I got it off Damn the Machine's MySpace page when some rare songs were available for a limited time.

Edit: it has taken me some time to update this post. I have not yet updated the files themselves. The demo is probably from late '93- early '94 since singer/guitar player Dave Clemmons left the band some time around March/April of 1994.

I publish this magazine, and this interview appeared in our first interview. John Skipp was the vocalist on the Mumbo's Brain demo. He talks quite a bit about how the whole Damn the Machine/Mumbo's Brain thing happened. It's a cool story.

Anyway, thought some of you might dig it. =)
