Uploader Notes: The Greek formation AGNOSIA released with their demo CD ‘The Inner Conflict’ a strong mini album in the progressive heavy metal genre. AGNOSIA is formed in 2003 by musicians from different bands and acts in which many members still part of. However, this band must not be seen as a project but as full worthy due their promise to release later this year a full length release. The intro on ‘The Inner Conflict’ is not a song, so this release counts only three musical tracks. The alternation and surprising compositions of those three songs on ‘The Inner Conflict’ are from high levelled musicians. A comparison must be found in bands such as DREAM THEATER, ICE AGE or SYMPHONY X. Unfortunately these guys didn’t had the possibility to release the same productions as abovementioned bands. However, due their self financed release the band was capable enough making a very acceptable album from ‘The Inner Conflict’. All musicians on this album are highly skilled regardi! ng their instrument with the one and only negative comment that the vocals can be a bit boring some times. However, on the last track ‘Dreaming Disturbance’ the vocals has this high QUEENSRYCHE/CRIMSON GLORY value in which the band also gave the enormous great (guest)-bass player a highly appreciated appearance. This demo CD is very interesting and more than worthy to make a full length with this material. I look very curious to the near future of Agnosia, in which the music isn’t original, but musicians like this are!
