Los Angeles Hard Rock band.
At various stages the group included W.A.S.P. drummer Tony Richards, RATT s Robbin Crosby and ROUGH CUTT's David Alford. MAX HAVOC was formed by front man Pat McKeon and also included ex-BLACK SABBATH drummer Bill Ward.
At one stage the group featured former SINNER and WRATHCHILD guitarist Phil Vokins.
However, this version of the band fragmented, with Vokins relocating back to the UK to join PERSIAN RISK.
Whilst Ward spent time away working with BLACK SABBATH on the 'Born Again' album former MICKEY RATT drummer Khurt Maier was recruited in his place.
However, Ward returned to Los Angeles and thus wound up working again with MAX HAVOC as an associate producer.
The 1983 eponymous album, released through Triple Platinum Records, features additional playing contributions from guitarists QUIET RIOT's Carlos Cavazo and Steve KraII and W.A.S.P. drummer Tony Richards.
A 1987 version of MAX HAVOC featured WITCH guitarist Ronny Too.
Khurt Maier and guitar player Scott Lane later joined Geffen recording artists SALTY DOG.
By 2000 Maier was a member of MUDPIE with ex-WINTERKAT guitarist Jonathon Grell and MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP and STEELHOUSE LANE singer Keith Slack.
During 2006 Phil Vokins returned to the scene with PSYCHOWRATH, a union with erstwhile WRATHCHILD members bassist Marc Angel, drummer Eddie Starr and BEYOND RECOGNITION vocalist Gaz Harris.
