The Godz are an American hard rock group from Columbus, Ohio that formed in 1976.
Their 1985 album, I'll Get You Rockin', a European release on the Heavy Metal America label went a long way toward re-establishing the band, spawning a hit video of the title track in the UK. That year and the next The Godz went on the road with Metallica as they supported Master of Puppets on their 'Damage Inc. Tour' with Ozzy Osbourne.
