Wolfchild started in 2002, with Kim Högberg (Helion, Bulldozer) joining the line-up of Nasty (Jaska Koivusilta, Marko Purosto, Tomi Nousiainen). Their name is inspired by The Cult’s song “Wildflower". Next year they release their first demo "Tales Of The Urban Decadence" with 2 original tracks and 2 covers, of W.A.S.P and Twisted Sister. The demo have good review and their make a bunch of lives in Finland, where a live bootleg is recorded on 28/07/2004 but never released.

In 2005 a second demo, "Toxic", is released, who make Perris Records discover them. A full lenght album is released with this label next year (another was in project, Gime A Sign was recorded as the promo single), still available on label's website.. But shortly after Kim and Jaska argued about the band direction, and Kim left the band. They found a new singer and guitarist in early 2007. Tragically some months later, Jaska died, putting an end to the band. Kim plays currently in an unknown project, and the 3 left in Electric Black and Finnish Badasses (Dave Evans's Finnish tour).
