Blitz-Krik band (literally "Blitz-Shout" in Russian, and it's sort of pun to me) elaborated from the prog-rock ensemble Тембр / Tembr («Timbre») originated from the town of Andropov.

Actually it's truely great demo-thrasher, mostly on furious speed (200+ BPM) that keeps all the great and iconic vibes of (un)blessed 1980's. Bitrate looks low but it's enough for this recording. Demo-title means «Ponder Over».

I'm sure Podumai is one of the very best Soviet thrash metal recordings, the well-kept Soviet secret, the essential potion of (un)holy grail of Soviet thrash metal, and much fuckin' better than the most of Moscow thrashers of those time.

Sadly Blitz-Krik didn't last long – after several concerts its band-members have got drafted to the ranks of Soviet Army, and they parted their ways upon release from the military forces.

Two cents more: in my opinion, Podumai is heavily influenced by early Kreator but Blitz-Krik guys are way more skilful than young Kreators.
