Nema was the band pre-Gulu Locus, active between 1995 and 1996.... according to what the singer/bassist Cristian Mussari (Gulu Locus, Inwardeye, Stoner Kebab, Ghost Empire, Calvana) wrote to my blog today "Every time I listen back to it, I start laughing... there were ideas but the only member who was able to play was the violinist.... but the idea of releasing a demo in a moment when everybody was releasing demos made us doing everything in a rush. After some months Nema became Gulu Locus and that's where we started to make things more properly. We had indeed different influences and - yes - we just tried to mix up the cards on the table"
