Hello everyone. This will be the official HMR topic where I post news about my label (future releases and distro updates).

Rude Awakening Records is a DIY record label focused exclusively on Metal reissues. There's no limit, generally speaking, I just don't like extremely modern stuff such as Deathcore or politically involved bands.

First release will be DISPHERE debut album "Abscience"!
Born in Naples in 2006 as a trio led by Pirozzi brothers, early years sound was inspired by acclaimed extreme Metal bands such as Cynic, Meshuggah and Cephalic Carnage, and brought them to compose "Abscience", a promo lasting slightly longer than 30 minutes with eight fierce tracks. The band's sound will evolve across ten years of career diverting from previous influences to incorporate Alternative and Post Metal elements, represented nowadays by their fourth full length, “Mountain.Crushing.Waves.” (2015).

Shortly “Abscience” will be reissued as a professional CD, 300 hand-numbered copies with a new artwork, destined for extreme Italian underground Metal maniacs. DISPHERE will be the first band proudly reissued by Rude Awakening Records in November. Artwork and audio previews will be revealed soon, stay tuned on official label channels!

As recently announced, Italian band Disphere will see a reissue of their debut album “Abscience”. Starting from today, the track “Inborn” has been made available for streaming and more will be unleashed soon on official channels by Rude Awakening Records (both Soundcloud and YouTube).

New cover and artwork will be illustrated by Abomination Imagery (Infernaeon, Sinister, Spawn Of Possession, etc.).

“Abscience” tracklist follows the same order as 2007 self-production:

After “Inborn”, a new track is available for streaming by Italian band Disphere for their debut reissue by Rude Awakening Records.

The chosen track is “To Walk The Earthquake”, fourth song on “Abscience” anticipating the forthcoming release on 300 hand-numbered copies worldwide.

Release date is set for 25th November 2015, “Abscience” copies will be available directly from from our website. In the meanwhile, check out official label channels for streaming!

"Italian Thrash Relics - Vol. I": first details revealed!
Rude Awakening Records and DeathStorm Records are proud to show the result of a profitable collaboration, entitled "Italian Thrash Relics", the first chapter of a series of releases thought to rediscover Italian thrash demos from the 80s and the 90s, forgotten by masses but still but still alive in those who lived the golden era of Thrash Metal.
Every split will see two Italian bands, for a cd release with a new artwork and a booklet full of informations and photos.
Let's start with FURIOUS BARKING and DESMODUS, here represented by "De-Industrialized" (1991) and Human Wreck" (1992), originally self produced by the bands, respectively on vinyl and on tape and now remastered.
New artwork was made by Andrea Pini (http://www.andreapini.net).

After unveiling the bands who will take part to first release of “Italian Thrash Relics”and the artwork by the artist Andrea Pini, DeathStorm Records and Rude Awakening Records are proud to spread two tracks for streaming, part of the newborn series totally devoted to the Italian old school Thrash movement.

DESMODUS will come first with the tracks “Human Wreck” and “See The Light”, only available in their 1992 demotape and now remastered; these tracks can be listened on the label's official channels (YouTube, Bandcamp, Soundcloud).
