London based band CHEMICAL ALICE formed in 1980 and subsequently issued one extremely rare EP (Curiouser & Curiouser 12" EP recorded at Spaceward Studios, Cambridge), the following year in a limited edition of 1000 copies.

Amongst the band's former members, keyboard player Mark Kelly went on to enjoy greater fame with MARILLION. Kelly had replaced Steve Leigh in CHEMICAL ALICE as Leigh decamped to join first TAMARISK, then QUASAR and finally LANDMARQ. Vocalist Andy Grant also joined TAMARISK. CHEMICAL ALICE bassist Jack Grigor now plays with TEA FOR THE WICKED.
