Initially a four-piece, but added Carl Arnfield to the line-up for a twin guitar sound. This caused Paul Henley to quit in protest and the band were back down to a four before recruiting Ged Rylands to play keyboards and guitar. The band changed direction after this to a more commercial sound. Damacles also recorded a session for the BBC Radio 1 Friday Rock Show. Changed name to Nobody's Fool after Ged Rylands quit to join The Jess Cox Band and signed to Bad Records, releasing a single called Rock on Radio. They eventually split up after Danny Clarke quit and the remaining members struggled to find a replacement. Carl Arnfield went on to be a bodybuilder, while various other members went on to play in cover bands. Bob Miller currently lives in Melbourne, Australia and fronts a NWOBHM cover band called 79 Revisited.
