Deathcore was from the Toronto, Ontario area, and sold at The Record Peddler.
Glenn Salter, editor of Metallic Assault fanzine, became more excited by hardcore punk / crossover / thrash metal / death metal, and created Deathcore for only 2 issues
Later, he went further into just the hardcore scene and created a few HC zines, under a new title name each time.
