The first demo from the mighty Texas prog metal band Power of Omens.

I am a big fan of their incredibly technical and complex music, and after looking for their demos, I finally contacted the former guitarist Dave Gallegos. He was very kind and we exchanged many e-mails. I asked for the two demos, and he sent me them PLUS a DVD, a buch of stickers and a Power of Omens T-shirt. Really nice guy! Since Power of Omens broke up in 2005 he has released two albums of instrumental flamenco music(!), but he has started to feel like playing prog metal again. He might include former Power of Omens/Dreamstate bassist Chris Herring in the new project!

I only knew their "Rooms of anguish"-Album until now, but this sounds even better, more "warmth" in the music, not so much "cold" perfection.

Thanks for this! Was looking for it, great stuff. As above I only knew about the 1998 album and used to listen to it as a kid. Hard to find these, the guitarist sounds like a nice guy.
