Requested by jasonkont. No idea where I got this from.. found it on a CD-R.

Quite likely the second recording of the reunited lineup, at which time
they had reverted to their Agent Steel monicker. Some internet versions of
the demo add the Black Sabbath cover version 'Sweet Leaf', but that is taken
from the Hell Rules tribute album and was not part of the official demo.

Bruce Hall - Vocals (Grinchfist, Sybil, Steel Prophet, Psychosis, Stone Soldier)
Juan Garcia - Guitar (Abattoir, Evildead, Terror, Killing Machine, Obscene Gesture)
Bernie Versailles - Guitar (Redemption, Engine, Fates Warning, Sybil, Militants)
Michael Zaputil - Bass (Sexist, Malice, The Mofo Homeboys)
Chuck Profus - Drums (Black Reign, Malfeitor, Obscene Gesture, Pontius Prophet)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1. New Godz
    2. Into the Machine
    3. Fighting Backwards
    4. Sweet Leaf (Black Sabbath cover - not on original demo)
    5. Bleed Forever

This isn't Agent Steel (US) - Agents of Steel [Demo] (1998) .
The tracklist of this demo is:
    1. Deny the Poison
    2. Eradicate

This is "Agent Steel - 1999 - Deny the Poison (Demo)" plus Sweet leaf (Black Sabbath cover) from [Hell Rules: a tribute to Black Sabbath].
Tracklist of "Deny the Poison Demo":
    1. Deny the Poison
    2. Eradicate
    3. New Godz
    4. Into the Nowhere (misspell here as: Into the Machine)
    5. Fighting Backwards
    6. Bleed Forever

Thanks anyway, I haven't got this too (I am just mentioning it so you can correct the title).
    (cheers1)

thanks Strapp and Jason for the demo and info! As we all know, great band! Whatever happened to the recent Cyriis reunion? I know they did some shows in Japan - clips were posted on youtube. But after that, some flakiness with Cyriis and the band making statements that Cyriis was still in the band, although nothing heard from them since those shows - wondering what's going on in the A.S. camp!

    Are you sure?
"Deny the Poision" and "Eradicate" was never included in this archive.
and the tracklist doesn't match 'Deny the Poison' demo...

I just saw that there is two Versions:
    A) http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Ag ... emo/247927
    with only two tracks
    1. Deny the Poison
    2. Eradicate
    and
    B) http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Ag ... eel/334937
    1. New Godz 03:13
    2. Into the Machine 05:14
    3. Fighting Backwards 04:31
    4. Bleed Forever 05:37

I check only the first one and tracklist didn't match.
Probably "Deny the Poison (1999 Demo)" are both these Demos plus Black Sabbath's cover ... now tracklist match.

[Sorry Srapp...too many hours on the PC...need a break !!!] (hmm)

They were booked for the "70000 tons of Metal Crusade" Cyriis refused to turn up, so they got Rick Mythiasin of STEEL PROPHET filling the vocalist spot. Same procedure with the Keep it True Festival, they had to use the monicker AGENTS OF METAL due to legal trouble with Cyriis concerning the bandname. At the Headbangers Open Air Cyriis played with band from the Netherland (which name I forgot) as backing band. What the future may hold in store I do not dare to guess, as the past told us: Anything is possible.

I think I heard about that, and then afterwards, Bernie and the band said that Cyriis was still in the band. Although they didn't know where he was, LOL. But they seemed adamant that Cyriis was still there, and they'd be recording a new album. Since then, nothing.

Would be such a great shame, if after all this time, Cyriis finally located and the band performing some live shows, and then nothing ultimately comes of it.

Rick Mythiasin is an awesome singer - if things don't work out with Cyriis, would love for Rick to be in the band. But of course we all want the original lineup!

Cyriis has the rights to the name Agent Steel. That's why the band use(d) another name with Rick on vocals to avoid another lawsuit from Cyriis, like in the 90's.Makes you think why he joined AS again.

Thanks for posting the demo! (cheers1)

Deny the Poison // Eradicate - the only 2 tracks that were (originally) released as by AGENTS OF STEEL, not Agent Steel. technically, this is small (adjoining but) separate folder in a good, scientifically-structured music DB (like mine (:D) ). the problem is that these tracks are so fuckin elusive - can't find 'em for already a lifetime!
i know that 2-track '98 demo itself is almost impossible to find, but Deny the Poison - somebody must have it, after all? (those crazy boot tape traders do, but i just dunno how to approach them...)

thanks, - but these two songs hang missing yet...
